Because this was my first Indian wedding, I did some research before Prerna and Tristan's big day. I remember thinking 'damn, Belgian ceremonies are so boring compared to Indian weddings!'. After spending three days with Prerna and Tristan, photographing their civil ceremony, Henna tattoo ceremony, Kurkuma ceremony and Indian ceremony I can only conclude that I want more weddings like this! Prer and Tris, you were amazing! I loved every second with you and your family! The vibe, the colors, the love, the colliding of two different cultures.. It was just perfect.

Curcuma ceremony
The first day was a short shoot of the curcuma ceremony. Nothing is more awesome to shoot!
Second day
We started with a small Henna tattoo ceremony to relax. Afterwards the preparations started for the big ceremony
playing with light
I noticed my camera was reflecting a small beam of light in the room. So I aimed it directly at her earrings.
The shoot
For the shoot we had nothing planned. On our drive home we just stopped at a little industrial site and improvised for 10 minutes.
